Ryan Metzler

Ryan co-founded AJR Capital Group and leads acquisitions and entitlements across the firm's investment platform. He drives deal origination, financial analysis, and investment committee underwriting, applying institutional discipline to a principal-driven platform focused on opportunistic commercial real estate.

Before founding AJR, Ryan led the Southern California development acquisitions group at Mitsui Fudosan America, a $60B international real estate company, overseeing more than $1.4B in projects. He also worked for Caruso on the Rosewood Miramar Beach and Pacific Palisades Village developments. Ryan holds a BBA from the Cox School of Business at SMU and serves on the Board of Directors for the LA Chapter of YPO Next Generation.
